Dukkah (doo-ka) originating in the Middle East is a delicious blend of dry roasted hazelnuts, sesame seeds, selected spices. It can be served as an appetizer - slice Turkish bread, dip it into quality extra virgin olive oil and then into a variety of dukkah. Dukkah can also be used as a sprinkle over leafy green salads, roast vegetables, bread dough, pizzas, steamed beans topped with Parmesan cheese, served with cheeses, as a coating for fish, poultry, lamb and meat balls. It is so versatile you can try it on a range of your own recipes.
